Some model years have wired CarPlay and Android Auto only. On January 30, 2024, Honda announced a dealer-installed software upgrade that adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. The upgrade applies to 2018 to 2022 Accord trims that came with wired-only systems. Honda said that about 631,000 Accords in the United States qualify.2
We did not find a Honda or Apple source that lists the wired or wireless connection for each trim of the 2023 and later Accord. Check the owner’s manual for the exact model year and trim.12
