About Maxus

Maxus is a Chinese vehicle brand. SAIC MAXUS Automotive is a wholly owned subsidiary of SAIC Motor, and it was established on March 21, 2011.1

The brand takes its name from the LDV Maxus, a van of the former British maker LDV. SAIC revived the LDV Maxus-style van as the Maxus V80. SAIC launched the V80 at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show, and it went on sale in September of that year.2

The current range includes the Deliver and eDeliver commercial vehicles, the MIFA and G series MPVs, and the T90 and eTerron 9 pickup trucks. The D60 and D90 are SUVs.1

Maxus sells vehicles in markets that include Australia, Chile, South Africa, South East Asia and the Middle East.23
