About Panoz
Panoz is an American maker of luxury, hand-crafted sports cars. Dan Panoz, son of Don Panoz, founded it in 1989. The headquarters is in Hoschton, Georgia.1
The models include the Panoz Roadster, the AIV Roadster, the Esperante and the Avezzano.1
Don Panoz entered racing in 1997 to promote the brand. Panoz created the American Le Mans Series in 1998. In 2006, a Panoz Esperante GTLM from Team LNT won its class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Panoz also won the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2006.12
In 2012, the American Le Mans Series, Road Atlanta and Sebring International Raceway were combined with Grand-Am Road Racing. Panoz remains a family-operated business.13
