Mazda OBD-II support

Pelican knows 45 Mazda models. The OBDb has parameter data for 18 of them.

Every Mazda that supports OBD-II also reports the standard parameters, such as speed and engine data.

About Mazda

Mazda is a Japanese automaker. It began on January 30, 1920, as Toyo Cork Kogyo, and its headquarters is now in Fuchu, Hiroshima Prefecture. As of March 31, 2026, Toyota Motor Corporation holds 5.1 percent of Mazda.123

The MX-5 Miata launched in 1989 and revived the lightweight sports car segment. The RX-7 is a sports car with a rotary engine, introduced in 1978. Mazda lists the MX-30 as its first mass-production electric vehicle, launched in 2020.245

Mazda describes itself as the only mass producer of the rotary engine. In 1991, a rotary-powered Mazda 787B won the 24 Hours of Le Mans.2

Mazda cars sold in the United States since 1996 support OBD-II.6
